Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

Bluefield, VA- Bluefield State hosted the only team they beat this season in Virginia Union. Unfortunately the Panthers were able to take care of business in the games, winning 17-8 and 16-1.

Game 1 was an extremely high scoring game, with 25 runs scored between the two teams. Of the 8 runs, Tyann Thomas had 4 of them, including a 3 run home run, the 1st of her collegiate career. Casey Spencer also provided a spark of offense for Bluefield State, going 2-3 with an RBI double. Spencer also scored later in that inning from a single by Marceda Lee. Emily Day took to the center circle and pitched very well early. Toward the end Day started to labor a little, giving up a couple home runs to help Virginia Union build their 9 run lead.

Game 2 did not see as much offense by Bluefield State. The lone run by the Big Blues came from a single by Emily Day who scored Casey Spencer in the 1st inning. The Panthers were able to get 16 runs on 20 hits to easily put away BSC.
