Golf Finishes Eighth at Trojan Invite

GOLDSBORO, North Carolina -- The men's golf team finished eighth at the Trojan Walnut Creek Tournament, March 28-29.

The Big Blue were led by Douglas Nordlof, finishing with a 220, 8 strokes behind the leader of the tournament Franco Piovano.

The Big Blue finished with a two-round score of 930, 66 strokes behind Barton College, winner of the Trojan Invite. The Big Blue finished 62 strokes ahead of Chowen University.

Jacob Gunther finished at 233, 13 strokes behind team leader Douglas Nordlof.
