PARKERSBURG, West Virginia - The Bluefield State men's tennis team topped West Liberty Wednesday afternoon, 5-2.
The Big Blue got up early sweeping in doubles play, 3-0.
Frederik Bau-Madsen and Juan De Freitas got the first win in the doubles match on court one, 6-4.
Teddy Razafindratsima and
Tom Schmieta won their set on court two in against Gianluca Gerndt and Moritz Erpel, 6-2.
Luke Busse and
Fabian Avail-Torres clinched the doubles win for the Big Blue on court three, 7-5.
Frederik Bau-Madsen defeated Anton Schulz in the number two spot, (6-2, 6-3).
Teddy Razafindratsima battled in the number one spot and came up with the win over Moritz Erpel, (7-6, 6-2).
Fernando Arguello fell in a tough loss in the number six spot for the Big Blue, (6-6, 4-3).
Tom Schmieta dropped to Daisuke Aota in the number three spot, (3-2, 6-6).
