Lexington, VA- Big Blue jumpers led the way for this weekend's top performances starting with a 7th Place finish in Men's Long Jump by McKinley Pennix, who set the school record for men's indoor Long Jump at 6.52m.
This was followed up by a 5th and 7th place finish by Darius Brown and Pennix in Men's Triple Jump. Both Jumpers are currently sitting in the top 10 in the CIAA, with Brown in 4th place and the school record jump of 14.08m.
Raelyn Vadala continues her strong sophomore campaign by furthering her own record with a 2nd place finish jump of 11.36m in Women's Triple Jump.
Breaking another school record was Trevor Nefe, who took second place in the men's high jump with a personal best of 1.91m, moving him into 6th place in the conference standings.
On the track, Sophomore Khrisalyn Kegler improved her personal best while breaking her own school record with a time of 9.02 while taking 1st place in the Women's 60m hurdles.
In throws, Myles Rice takes 9th place with a throw of 12.93m with Samba Jah throwing a personal best of 12.17m.
Bluefield State Track and Field will be back in competition next week returning to Lexington for the VMI invitational.
