Bluefield, WV – Bluefield State University volleyball closed out the regular season with a 3-0 victory over Lincoln (PA) University (25-13, 25-4, 25-10). The Big Blue improved to 15-16 overall and 12-4 in CIAA play.
The Big Blue hit .349 as a team totaling 28 kills, 23 assists, 31 digs, 13 ace serves and six blocks.
Allyson Martin paced the offense with nine kills, six digs, and an ace serve. Dynasty Andrews followed with five kills, five total blocks, and an ace, while Soniya Garner added five kills, two blocks, and five digs. Gabrielle Hale directed the attack with 19 assists, four kills, and seven digs. Kaileigh Solis was electric from the service line with nine aces, and Maya Morales added two aces, two assists, and three digs.
The Big Blue controlled the match from the start, pushing ahead early. The Big Blue was dominate in the second set with a 25–4 win powered by an 11-point serving run from Solis.
