Elizabeth City, NC – Bluefield State University men's basketball took down Elizabeth City State 57-48. The Big Blue improve to 6-11 overall and 3-3 in conference play.
The Big Blue held the Vikings to just 18 points in the opening half to take the 26-18 advantage into the half. The Big Blue maintained control in the second half, outscoring the Vikings 31-30, to secure the 54-48 victory over Elizabeth City State.
Myles Pierre led all players with 17 points, including four threes. Warren Mouganda and Sila Tako added nine points each, with Tako also adding four rebounds and a block. Anthony Latty anchored the paint with eight points and six rebounds. Ellija Preddy orchestrated the offense with six assists and eight rebounds on the night.
