Bluefield, WV – Alexis Coles and Paige Whittington both earned CIAA Weekly Honors after an impressive three-game week performance.

Alexis Coles earned CIAA Rookie of the Week honors. Against Jackson State, Cole collected one hit, one run, and one RBI. On the bases, Coles had one stolen base and had two putouts in the field.

Paige Whittington was named CIAA Offensive Player of the week after collecting seven stolen bases in the three-game stretch. At the plate, Whittington went 3-for-7, including one double and two walks.
