Durham, NC – Bluefield State University football has been projected to finish 9^th in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Preseason Poll as announced on Wednesday at CIAA Football Media Day in Durham, NC.  

Wide Receiver Brandon Wiley was named to the CIAA Preseason Team after leading the CIAA during the regular season with 750 receiving yards.

The Big Blue will open the season on the road at Tusculum University on August 27^th, followed by the Battle of the Blueridge at Concord University on September 5^th. The Big Blue will host Livingstone College for their home opener on September 12^th for Code Blue and Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day.
