BUCKHANNON, West Virginia -- The Big Blue women's tennis team captured win number two in the day against West Virginia Wesleyan Saturday afternoon, 5-2.
The Big Blue swept the Bobcats in doubles. Victoria Cabral and Ghita Courdi defeated Molly Hull and Madison Chen on court three, 6-4.
Shreya Chakrabarly and Juliana Jimenez got the second win agaisnt Sai Sakamoto on court 1, 6-1.
Paula Saez Raez and Virginia Zanotti secured the doubles point, defeating Cayley Symons and Rebecca Osborne, 6-4.
In singles play, Paula Saez Raez dropped in the number four spot, 1-6, 2-6). Juliana Jimenez defeated Alanis Alvarez in the number three spot, (6-1,6-4).
Shreya Chakrabarly captured the win against Sai Sakamoto in the numnber one spot (6-1, 6-3). Victoria Cabral swept Madison Chen in the number six spot, (6-0,6-0)
Ghita Courdi secured the win for the Big Blue in the number five spot, (6-1,6-1).
