Bluefield, WV - Shanon Hoover has been named CIAA Rookie of the week for week one after making an immediate impact in her collegiate debut. 

In the season opener, Hoover finished the night just shy of a double-double with 13 points, nine rebounds, and seven steals. In game two, Hoover added four points, three rebounds, one block, and one steal.
