Leland, NC – Bluefield State University men's golf captured the 2025 CIAA Golf Championship title, edging out Fayetteville State by five strokes in the three-round tournament.

The Big Blue posted a team score of 905 (+41, 301, 293, 311), holding off second place Fayetteville State who finished with 910 (+46).

Eman Lim led the Big Blue, finishing 3rd overall with rounds of 75, 70, and 75 (+4). Joseph Emery finished right behind Lim, tied for fourth with a total of 226 (+10).  Eman Lim and Joseph Emery were both named to the All-Tournament team based off their performance. Ben Lyons rounded out the top 10 finishes for the Big Blue, placing 7th with a three-day total of 228 (+8).

Alexander Hambleton finished 17th with daily scores of 73, 80, 86 (+23) with Josh Moss coming in tied for 20th with a 239 (+23).

"When I first took over the golf program at Bluefield State, a big goal of mine was to bring championships back to Bluefield. To accomplish this in our second year in the CIAA is something I am very proud of," said head coach Sam Berry. "We played an extremely young team this week at the conference championship with three freshman, a sophomore and a junior. I have a group of young men who see the vision and are invested in this program just as much as myself. We work hard every day and keep working towards our goals. This is the start of big things to come for our golf program! Big shoutout to Joe Emery, Ben Lyons and of course Eman Lim, who all came up clutch down the stretch during the final round when we really needed it!
