St. Clairsville, OH / Charleston, WV – Bluefield State men's golf opened its 2025 fall season with two strong performances, finishing third at both the Wheeling Fall Invitational and the UC Invitational.
At Wheeling, the Big Blue posted a team score of +11 to place behind California (PA) A (+6) and IUP (+11, tiebreaker). Eman Lim tied for 4th at par with Magnus Nielsen tied for 10th at +2. Rounding out the lineup were Michael Wilson (+6), Joshua Moss (+7), and Alexander Hambleton (+8). The B team placed 8th at +31, led by Joseph Emery (+3, T-13), William Hixon (+4, T-16), and Benjamin Lyons (+10, T-44).
The following week in Charleston, Bluefield State recorded a team score of +31 to finish third in a 20-team field. Hambleton led the way with a T-8 finish at +1 (76-71-70). He was followed by Nielsen and William Hixon (both +7, T-22), Joseph Emery (+9, 27th), and Wilson (+11, T-31).
