St. Clairsville, OH / Charleston, WV – Bluefield State women's golf opened its fall campaign with back-to-back tournaments, competing at the Wheeling Fall Invitational and the UC Invitational.
At Wheeling, the Big Blue were among nine schools in the field. Candela Lopez Prino led the way with a two-day total of +24 to finish inside the top 10 at 9th place overall. Teammate Nadia Seymore posted rounds of +29 and +36 to close at +65, placing 33rd.
The following week at the UC Invitational, Lopez Prino turned in another consistent performance, finishing T-43 at +19 against a strong regional field. Seymore followed with a two-day total of +53, finishing 83rd.
