Bluefield State University proudly celebrates the success of recent graduate Dynasty Andrews, a Blue Dragon whose journey reflects resilience, academic excellence, and a continued commitment to the sport of volleyball.

A native of Richardson, Texas, Andrews began her collegiate career at Odessa College, where she played for Bluefield State head volleyball coach Dayana Acevedo Trent during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Competing as a middle blocker for the Wranglers, Andrews appeared in 57 matches and 190 sets, recording 277 kills, a .208 attack percentage, 149 digs, and 131 total blocks. Her development was highlighted during her sophomore season, when she improved her attack percentage by 48 points to .231, averaged 1.43 kills per set, and helped lead Odessa to the NJCAA National Tournament. That season, she earned Honorable Mention All-WJCAC recognition.

Andrews also excelled academically, earning distinction as a two-time First-Team WJCAC and NJCAA All-Academic Student-Athlete, underscoring her dedication to success in the classroom.
After earning her Associate of General Studies degree from Odessa College in 2023, Andrews transferred to Bluefield State University. Although an injury sidelined her for the 2024 season, she returned in 2025 to make a meaningful impact for the Blue Dragons. During the 2025 season, Andrews played in 32 matches (102 sets) as a middle blocker and right-side hitter, totaling 129 kills, while averaging 0.74 blocks per set and 0.57 digs per set.

In 2025, Andrews graduated from Bluefield State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Services, with a concentration in Psychology. She now continues her professional journey in collegiate athletics, employed at Hutchinson Community College, where she brings her experience as a student-athlete and leader to the next generation.

With aspirations of earning a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work, Dynasty Andrews exemplifies the mission of Bluefield State University—developing graduates who are resilient, service-minded, and prepared to make an impact beyond campus.
